Dash electrical problem

I am looking around for a newer tractor. Yesterday I looked at a Workmaster 75. It seems to have an electrical issue with the dash gages. When you first start the tractor, the gages don't work. But after the tractor warms up, they start to function. I have never seen an electrical problem quite like this. I tried searching through this forum and have seen starting issues with the key switch. This tractor has a push button mounted on the LH column to activate the starter. Is this stock or have they modified the key switch? I'm wondering if somehow the two are related.

Anybody else seen this issue with the gages not working?

As far as the gauges go it could be a defective or loose ground causing the issue and yes, it could be related to a modification of the ignition switch. They may have moved the starter function to the push button and not tightened one of other connections. The external starter button could also be a symptom of another failure within the ignition switch - currently intermittent.
