Dash Bulb Where do you get Them 12V.1 Amp

i have a small Bulb on the dash of my nortrac 2004, the bulb is a 12Volt 1 amp bulb ,when you have the key on it lights up to tell you the key is on , i went to NAPA and all over trying to get one with no luck ,it stoped working , any one know where i can get two one for a spair , any of you dealers out there stock them , i dont seam to fiend a part # in the book on it , it dont show it Thanks Frank

Radio shack sells many types. My KAMA did not come with that feature but I installed one. I got the bulb/socket at Radio Shack.

Silly question maybe, but did you try Northern?

Yes i have a E-Mail in to Northen, didnt here back yet, i dont have a part # for the bulb .

You might try JD. I had some bulbs for Yanmar, that I believe was about what you are look for. I went to JD and ask if they had them. The next question for the parts guy was what does it go in. My reply was a small compact tractor. He went to the back and come out with a card of them and I bought 5. Left and everybody was happy. If I had said Yanmar I would have never got them. Might try this, they were indicator bulbs on a Yanmar dash and I had look all over for them.

A 12W bulb is unusually bright for a dash light, most are seldom more than a watt or two. But in this case I can understand the need for "bright". So what you might be looking for is more along the lines of a side marker light, a dome light, or some such fixture that takes a higher wattage bulb. Does it look like one of these: http://www.bulbs.com/default.asp?page=products&class=741&keyword=googleminiauto ?

Did you take the existing bulb to an auto parts store yet? Probably faster than waiting for a definitive answer here.

Hello , Well i ended up just changeing the hole thing , i got two in a pack at Radio shack for less then $3.00 , i got extra bulbs with the tractor but that one wasnt in the pack.

Glad you got it worked out Frank. More details would be nice though, as odds are good somebody else will show up here some day asking the same question. By "changeing the hole thing ", does that perhaps mean you replaced socket-wiring-bulb-lens with a RadioShack product that fit in the same hole ?
