Daedong EX45 HST

G'day,
This is my first posting, I hope someone can help.
I own a Daedong EX45HST tractor. I understand that these tractors are sold in the USA as "Kioti" but the specs and mechanicals are similar. My tractor has a hydrostatic transmission. There is a so called "Cruise Control" which keeps the hydrostatic forward pedal at a preset position with an electromagnet on the side of the pedal under the floor board. The problem is that the magnet does not appear strong enough to hold the pedal at the full forward position.
Has anyone had this issue with their tractor or does anyone know of a modification to remedy this problem?

Check the voltage at the electromagnet and make sure it has good grounds/connections.

Hello to you from Australia and thanks for your advice.
I think I have solved the problem with the cruise control. I have removed the forward pedal and cleaned off all the paint where it comes in contact with the magnet and I have realigned the magnet so it makes contact with the pedal with minimum clearance. It is working well now. It is a very good tractor and I am extremely happy with its performance.
