dad drove 3 hours to buy a jd 535 baler came home with a 567.

We have been wanting to upgrade to 5x6 baler a few years. My dad found a 535 almost 3 hours from here. He left this morning to get it but came home with a 567 with monitor an all. Very good shape for only a few thousand more. Belts in good shape. Seems to have very little wear. Even gave us an extended dealer warranty until our first cutting. Can't wait to try it out.

I've always baled with a 4 ft except when I worked for a JD dealer delivering/demonstrating rd balers. If the 567 is a good as my 467's have been you'll love it. They are hay baling machines.

to make things easier on you an your dad since you know nothing about that baler.take it to your jd dealer an have them go through it an get it field ready.now itll cost a chunk of money todo it.but itll save yall alot of headaches when you get ready to bale hay.we bought a 567 baler last year an had the dealer go through it.the only thing they didnt rebuild was the cylinders.an they both promply blew out the 1st day of baling an had tobe rebuilt.they are real good balers.ours makes a real tight heavy bale.what hp tractor are yall going to pull it with.

I've been custom baling with JD rd balers since '87 and I've never taken my baler to a JD dealer. I think it's a waste of money. The balers aren't difficult to repair and it's doesn't take a rocket scientist. Most dealer tech's know less than I know about JD balers. Different stokes for different folks.

I bale with a 504IS veermer for myself, but my father in law has jd 567 mega wide silage special and I love baling with it. Wet or dry doesn't matter it will roll it up fast as you want to go. Hope you y'all enjoy yours. I just don't like hauling those wide bales on the road.

We use 2. A 6715 an a 4840. 6715 is running about 130 hp an the 4840 is up around 200. An supposdly its already field ready.

We baled with an old 504 for years. Never had any major issues. My dad is a crack mechanic an always keeps thing up pretty well. I'm sure he will make this 567 last just as long or longer. It has the mega wide pickup but isn't a silage special.

txjim on that baler we bought there was a # of blown bearings in it.as well as bad sprokets an chain.plus a few other things wrong with it.so it was quicker an cheaper to let the dealer go through it.
