Here's my issue:

When I have my finish mower hooked to my Mitsubishi D2050, and I'm going down a hill (in this case about a 50' long slope), the tractor gets about 1/2 way down and it takes off on me. It's a pretty steep slope. When it reaches the bottom, the tractor grabs and works normal.

I'm pulling a 5' king kutter finishi mower. I run the tractor in 1st Low, and the PTO on low. It doesn't run away when there's nothing hooked to the PTO.

What's the cure from this running away on me?
Does this tractor have a live PTO?

I've heard mention of a PTO Slip Clutch and Over-running Clutches - do I need one of those and if so, which one? Is it the tractor clutch going bad?

Thanks.

Usually you can get by without an Over-running Clutch on a finish mower, but in your case I would try one. Check my websute for a quick attach Over-running Clutch. p# 51A100
