Hey guys, I have a mitsubishi d2000 with the 2dr5 engine.
unit has a front loader and was running fine, not great but fine..
So I decided to do a compression test and had low compression.
Yanked the engine and pulled it apart, one piston has a small Crack about 1 inch long.
Rings are done.
I have searched high and low for a rebuild kit or tried to piece together from various suppliers the parts.
I am coming up short on pistons and liners.
Any suggestions or just try to recover some money and part it out.
My ford 4000 is my backup and starts when needed but now I'm needing to use the loader on the mitsubishi.
