I am getting conflicting information on what fluid I need to put in the trans. of my Mitsubishi D1650, 80wt gear oil or tractor hydraulic oil.

There are two ways to go on this. If you have a loader or other hydraulic attachments, you should use hydraulic/transmission oil. If you just have the tractor and use the three point hitch you can put in 80W-90 gear oil.
