That's funny! I was sitting in the porch swing yesterday after reading about the "Fxxxx", and I thought if it were only a few miles, I would mow your every now and then just to use the F, see the views, and get a break from the heat. So, you read my mind! If not for the distance, I'd do it too!
I just finished mowing my yard after setting my 13 trees and while mowing I was thinking, I could let people come try my F out and maybe only have to mow a couple of times a year myself. Now I come to the Carolinas a couple of times a year, North and South, always at least once a year South. It may be time for you to come to the Lake Cumberland area and come the forth Saturday of the month for the car show. See about a thousand old cars more or less depending on the weather and mow my yard, sit on my swing and drink Sweet tea. Just bring a bit of that North Carolina Barbecue, the not red kind.

That is tempting...but if I get too close to that many classic cars and Barlow's, I might return home flat busted broke, or maybe not at all!

JT,

My ZD323 has all the seat adjustments you describe, I think all the Kubota ZTR's do. And I can use full speed on a couple spots in my yard (it's much flatter than yours). Sounds like the F is the perfect mower for your yard. Looks a lot like the toro groundmaster mowers they use where I work. Would you mind PM'ing me what you paid for your F? Any idea what the 2wd F's can be had for?

I bought the F2680E over 2 years ago so the price has probably changed since then and I traded the BX2660 MMM FEL 84hrs toward the F3080 so the cost is sort of complicated and there was also a Kubota incentive I qualified for which dropped it more. Call/email Barlows and they will tell you how much they will sell you one for. They also take trades if you have one. Also call other Kubota dealers locally and see if you get a better price there.
You can go to Kubota and do the build one to find MSRP but I got a big discount from that price. That's the starting point for all to begin their search for a Kubota.

Somerset is a growing community and I'm convinced we have room for one more and a N Carolinian will feel at home in Ky, very similiar country other than Ky has no Ocean Beaches. As I've said before, my brothers went east to NC and returned with a wife.

I am single, never married. Perhaps I ought to go to Ky and bring home a tractor, a hot rod, and a wife. The order of this would be important, obviously, because I have gathered from reading TBN threads that one of these often frowns on the other two. :D

I wish I could find a way to mount that deck on the 3ph of my BX flip the seat and steering 180 degrees, and then drive backwards.

Having two BXs (much less three) never made much sense to me, but having an F series for the grass and a B series for other tractor work is something I definitely would do if I could afford it (drool, drool). Congrats John; that's a great combo you have!!

I am a two BX guy. A BX24 TLB for landscaping and general utility work and a BX1850 for mowing and PTO implements. Not super cost-effective but easier on the back.

I do hear that! This is why I have dollies for every implement, as well as two hoists, one chain and one electric. I believe in letting electricity and physics do the work. My back just can't take manhandling huge chunks of metal any more.

You didn't. That was a reference to another member who currently has three.
I understand.

Stranger things have happened!:D:D
I'm now searching for a replacement item to fill the void.:)
It has to be usable, tradable, repairable, attracting, retain most of the value of it's cost and negotiable price. Also 0% interest if over a few hundred dollars. Any suggestions welcome.
