Cylinder Rod End Style Question

I have tube style rod ends on my old Kubota. 4 of the 7 hydraulic cylinders on the machine have bent and pitted pistons to the point the repair place I took them to to said they wouldn't rebuild them. Kubota wants $1400 each for replacements, and I can't find aftermarket cylinders with the dimensions of these with a tube/pin style ends that are large enough to fit the pins on my tractor. I did however find cylinders that will fit with clevis style rod ends. FWIW I can easily make spacers and or bushings to mount these new cylinders. So I'd like to know, is there a reason I shouldn't use a clevis style hydraulic cylinder to replace these worn out cylinders on my backhoe and loader?

The tube style ends hold the grease for the pins..

With your stated abilities, no reason why you can't. Just consider how you are going to grease them.
