Rake Cyclone Rake Anyone?

If the leaves are at all wet, it does get pretty heavy to dump. I try not to fill it completely if there is any moisture. They do offer the electric dump option if you want to spend a few bucks.

Storage space isn't much of an issue if you get the hanging brackets. When you fold it up and hang it very little floor space is required.

I wondered about the durability of the bag also, but after 13 years, mine is almost like new.

/ Cyclone Rake Anyone? #22
I have the larger unit & I pull it with a Scott 18hp 42" deck. My property is very sandy. I have had this unit almost 3 years now. The sand causes wear on the titanium plates inside the inpeller & shute & it also causes the fabric at the attachment point to the shute to wear, even with the rubber piece in place. To help eliminate this a I added a steal plate that is about 18 gauge to the shute & it extends into the bag to help direct the debris down. This has helped for the fabric but not the plates. CR did replace all my plates & sent me a new bag under warranty. The new plates are a heavier gauge than the originals.
The issue of not being able to tell when the bag is full that has been mentioned. I know my bag is about 3/4 full when I make a turn & the CR wants to not follow & force me to go straight. That is how I know it is time to dump. I vacumn my 2+ acres about 3 times each fall winter. I'm happy with the CR & would recommend it, Just know if you have a sandy yard that also tends to wear your mower blades down to unusable blades there is also going to be wear on the CR components.
