CX300 on JD4100

I am looking to buy a tractor and ran across a JD 4100 that the owner says he put on a new loader. Looking at the picture it reads cx300. Is this loader compatible with the 4100? I can't find any info on the web about compatible models. On another note (this may need to be in buying forum) but is 12,900 a good price for this tractor with that loader, 4 new turf tires with tubes, and 60" deck? Doesn't list a year, but it has 110 hours.
Appreciate the help.

If he modified the loader to fit as long as it was done properly I don't see the problem. The hours seem extremely low. Check tractor data dot com for information on the tractor like year range. A dealer will give you a build date with serial number. Good luck.

That's definitely a custom fit, the 410 and then later the 200cx loaders did fit with available mountings from JD. The lift capacity of the 300 loader is about twice that of what was meant for the 4100 so I'd be concerned about front axle wear, I hope he used some real rear ballast!

Ask the owner which loader it is. The photo looks like 300cx but it's hard to tell. JD sells the brackets for the 200cx or H130 loader to fit a 4100 but the 300cx is a bit larger so who knows. If that were closer I'd be looking at it myself. Looks like a very clean tractor unlike several I've seen in my recent searches.
