Impliment dealers should have them sold by the inch. Get one that痴 much heavier than the original and weld it on. Makes a big difference on bucket stability.

95% of my bucket use is for plowing snow on asphalt. The local heavy equipment shop wanted $400 for cutting edge that was meant for way heavier application. I finally just bought some 1/2”x5” cold rolled flat bar and 5 cutting edge bolts. You drill the hole in the center of the 5” then countersink with a bit large enough for the head to be flush. The plan is to flip it once the one side is worn far enough but after five years I’m only half way there.

I bought a weld on one this winter from Titan ( palletforks.com )
I think it was about $65 for a 60" one when I rebuilt the bucket on our B7500.

Ok. What did I do wrong. I originally tried to weld mine on but it cracked and broke off the first time I used it.

Not enough heat in the weld would be my first guess. Pictures of the edge and bucket it after it fell off?
What did you weld it with? Stick, mig, tig? How many amps? How thick was the edge and the bucket?

Mine was a 1/2" thick edge welded to a 3/16" (or possibly 1/4") thick bucket. I stick welded mine on using either 1/8" or 5/32" rods and IIRC 150-200 amps DC.

I welded to the small cutting edge that came on the bucket with a mig. This was 4-5??? Years ago so don’t remember all the details. The weld itself didn’t crack but it broke out of the cutting edge that was originally on the bucket. I just assumed that it was hardened steel and I obviously didn’t know the proper way to weld it.
