Cut try springs back

Clearly not a very experienced cutter. Could tell that in seconds just by the way he was using the saw.

When cutting a blow down, always cut the root ball off first. There is WAY more weight there than it looks like.

....Watching the video....it's always interesting when people think stupid is funny.

Mom said many times, "It's not nice to make fun of other peoples' misfortunes". Musta stuck, now 34 yrs after her passing, and I have yet to find an iota of humor in watching someone get hurt, flat framin' PERIOD!!

btw: IMO, too much of that 'funny video' show is pandering to a sick society, and taking the kids along for a laugh is teaching them to be callous. (anything for a buck. :yuck:)

I get to supervise quite a bit of felling, asked to weigh-in based on experience, to provide spring lines, coach on underside notching, etc. Wouldn't ya know it, somebody jumps on a downed tree and races to make the big cuts before someone else gets to show off his saw & prowess. By the time I bring one guy back from the emergency clinic the others have cut & cleared the rest ... or left to count their remaining appendages.

Trees/limbs don't need to be 'widow-makers' (ready to fall on the unsuspecting) to be dangerous.
