Customer ordered an 84" grapple and change out his loader to SSQA ... Grapple teeth and lids are AR400 steel 3/8" ... dual lids with 2x8 cylinders.

Thanks .... "the customer is always right" ... I suggested 72" but he wanted 84"

Everyone's uses are different. I'm in timber a lot, it would be too bulky for me. In open terrain I sometimes wish mine was wider.

You are right ... everyone's use is different ... I can suggest for open terrain just get another !!!!!

Kinda hard to tell from your picture, but the latch linkage doesn't look like it has any "over center" travel to keep the handles from bouncing up, unlatching one or both sides.

Where I added the arrow needs to be over farther (handle lower), so the compression spring will hold the handle down better.

Should be more like this, notice that the spring has to compress as the handle starts to raise.

You make a very good point and thank you ... I believe all is good it latches very secure.
