:D

What i was wanting to do is leave both tanks on the 2-wheel.... That's why i was wondering if the O-tank is on one side, if it would make it lean or tip forward.

The base of my cart sits flat on the ground when the cart is full upright, so I do not have a problem with tipping. With your tanks being larger you may need to extend the size of the base of the hand truck that you get. Other than that I would say you shouldn't have a problem. Like I say though, my tanks are smaller than yours.

Bill,

Nice job on the cart. Hope you don't mind, but I'd like to borrow a couple of your ideas.

Nice looking tractor in the background of the first pic. Make sure you do a thread when you build a loader for that thing!! :D

Hey Bill That's very nice! :D

You really did a great job..... I also like how you added the tool box.

Since the metal on the hand-trucks is kind of thin & hollow... Did you burn any holes in it when you was welding ?

Thanks for the pictures!

Bill, I also commend your work. I'd have to list mine under the ugliest cart thread. I got it from a sealed bid auction here at work. It's old, ugly and used but functional. I am always amazed at you guys that take the time to "finish" the job and put a great looking paint job on your projects. I mean that. It seems that everytime I fabricate something it's needed right then and during the "field testing" segment it usually never makes it back in the shop for the "finishing touches".:D

For those of you without a welding machine or more money than time, you can buy one ready made from your local welding supply. They come with either steel wheels (no flat tires from running over hot welding rods) or pneumatic. Kind of pricey though.

Hey Jay,

As long as it works for you, then that's just fine!

Right now your better off than me... because I'm pulling tanks around by hand.

It seems that when I need them, they are always in the back of the garage, barn, buildings or any other corner I can get them..... Then when I need to use the tanks I have to pull them out,(by hand) and put them in the bucket to haul where I'm working.

Right now I'm trying to build two wood sheds, and we are getting a lot of rain... But when I have the time, I'll make one & it just might be ugly. :D

Can you imagine what kind 4shorts would come up with. :D

Did you see his welder cart ?..... If not look it up..... If my welders had a cart like his, then the local sheriffs office would want to see proof of insurance. :D

Bill(Johndeere4300), lugging your tanks around is a royal pain! I've done it myself until I came up with my cart. I'll bet you're right, if 4shorts has one it'll certainly be attractive:D Then maybe he can get some paid advertisement from Victor or ?

Thanks for the compliments I appreciate it. In answer to the question of burning throught the hand truck metal; I had no issues at all.
Again thanks,
Bill
