curtis cab wiper motor

I have a BX 2200 with a curtis cab. The wiper motor appears to be kaput ( it may be the attached switch). I seem to recall reading on here in the past ( I searched but didn't find anything) that the wiper motor is fairly common and I don't need to go through the local curtis cab dealer and overpay with snow on the way. Any ideas?

You might get lucky and you might not. We stick with factory original for the most part if available but have found that there are a lot of different wiper motors out there to order and not be right.

Not trying to insult you - are you sure its the motor? I thought my motor was bad because the wiper stuttered across the window or didn't move at all. I recently noticed the motor shaft was agitating back and forth as it should but the arm is loose on the shaft. I have to figure out how the wiper arm attaches to the motor shaft and see if it can be tightened.
