When I bought my utility tractor 3 and a half years ago the biggest consideration was NO DEF. It is hard enough keeping a DEF system on a pickup working right even when it is driven every day so imagine the pain with a tractor that easily sees long periods of little use. If you cannot find an older one that is pre-emissions try to stay under 75HP that is the cut-in for DEF. A dealer friend of mine told me that ALL of them have emissions problems and the DEF systems are especially bad.
