Cup holder

My neighbors wife borrowed a set of measuring cups from my wife the other day. This morning my wife asked me if I could retrive them for her. As I was walking over to her house I noticed her husband on his 790 Deere moving a log with the loader with a beer in his hand (It's 9:00 in the morning) I headed towards him to ask what the heck was wrong with him when I noticed what appeared to be one of my wives bright orange measuring cups on the fender. /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif

As I got closer, shure enough it was, screwed through the bottom with a sheet rock screw, handle cut off with the trusty jig saw.(in my ignorance I did not know a 3/4 measuring cup perfectly holds a Budweiser can)

I informed him I was going to get my video camera so I could make an instructional video on how NOT! to operate a piece of equipment. He laughed and finished his beer tossing the empty on the ground. As I type this my wife is out scolding him for riding around with his grandchildren in the bucket (something I have done on several occasions). DOOHHH!! /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

I read your post to my wife, I'm surfing, she's ironing her wardrobe for the day.

She suspects everyone has to have one, a neighbor like that. If one of our neighbors had done that she'd have both of his ears on the same side of his face and be laughing at him for looking funny.

But you must count your blessings. He does have a tractor. So he at least has one redeeming quality.

My wife found one of our giant bath sheets lining the bottom of a neighbor's bird cage once. It always amazes me that they never think you'll recognize your own stuff. We didn't know they had a drinking problem until they went on the wagon. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
