CUB QA-42A SNOWBLOWER NIB PRICE ?

I would appreciate any info regarding the value of a brand new QA-42A Cub snowblower I found in my barn. It has been there for about 30 years and is still in the original unopened box. I would like to sell it but have no idea of it's value. Thanks in advance for any replies .

if nothing else, might try checking ebay or craigslist from time to time for their prices... such an accessory should be more in demand now.

around me they go for 75 to 350 hate to say it but parting it would yield the most money.
gear box 200ish
drive shaft 50
pulleys 50 each
shoot & hardware 75 to 100
auger with chain & bearings 50 to 100
drive chain takeup 50
the thrower body 50

im needing a auger, chain & bearings for mine.

also you called it a blower. its not. its a 1 stage thrower. lot of guys hate them because they only work best with fresh dry snow.

Since it is new in the box I would sell it in the box without parting it out. I know I would not be afraid to pay $500 for a NOS thrower. Given your location I would start higher than that, probably about $700 (but keep it in the box). I've shipped a lot of Cub stuff to the east that I received more than fair price for. Take pictures and post it on a Cub Cadet collector's website, NOS stuff sells well!
