Buying Advice Cub M48S Tank

I looked at a 2004 M48S today with 120 hours.
Are there any known issues with this model.
It had the Kohler Command 18HP, ran good, sounded good, asking price was $3300.

It also had the stamped deck, which looked solid/well made.

Thanks for any insight anyone might have.

I have a 2004 M54. I have right at 800 hours on mine at the moment and other than belts, blades and the occasional idler pulley have had no problems.

I have 2008 M72 w/ 37hp Kaw & these Tanks are extremely well built machines. I use in harsh conditions & no problems.

My brother bought the tank, I think it's going to work out great for him. He gave $2800 for it. With 120 hours, it's almost a new machine. I may be looking for a 54 or 60.

He did really good Curt. I think a new Tank 48 is around $7K. I dunno of any issues with them. They've got the commercial grade separate pump and wheel motor drive system, remote oil reservoir, spin on filter, etc..

i own 2 m48 tanks...love em..however im not sure but think that the "s" model is not a fabricated deck and that is a must have...
