Cub cadet model 2155

Tractor has a Kohler model CH15S engine with 875 hours. Engine is running , but It’s burning a lot of oil with blue smoke. Compression is 65psi cold and jumps to 75 psi when I put some oil in the piston housing. What is the normal average for compression for this age of engine and could it be the valves ? If the pressure changes when you add oil your rings are probably shot.
