i rebuilt my carb on my cub cadet kawasaki FH500V 17hp and now it acts like it is getting to much gas. it runs pretty well for a little while then dies and seems to run better under a load and thats why i think im getting too much fuel. I believe i just need to adjust it but cant figure out how.Ive adjusted and adjusted until i think i just got everything out of whack?! please help! thanks and God bless, Gary(rockinm):confused2:

Welcome to TBN :thumbsup:
If you are getting to much gas then spark plugs will be black. If too lean then they will be white. Correct mixture will be light tan. Check air cleaner/filter to see if there is a need to replace, check choke to see if it is completely open, check float valve to see if stuck open or any junk.
