I just finished building up my custom sprayer for my Cub Cadet i1050.
Here is what I purchased:
1 - Master MFG 15 Gallon Spot Sprayer - $99
3 - Tee-Jet Nozzles w/ Tips (80 degree spray)
I used some 2" square tubing and used 30" lengths and picked up on two frame rail bolt holes. On that I placed a piece of plywood to make a tank floor.
Strapping the tank to the frame holds it in place. Now I built up the back end with a riser of 2x4 and placed my 42" boom (made from 2x2) at the top. The spray height is 30" above ground. The nozzles are 20" apart. My total spray coverage is about 80".
Total cost was about $40 for the nozzles, bolts, hose, screws, etc. So for $140 I have an attached sprayer. The closest ATV mounted sprayer of the same size is $329. Not bad for my budget.
I also don't have to tow a trailer around.
