I have a ih cub cadet 982 that I need to adjust the hydrostatic transmission,
it keeps creeping in neutral.

Is it just creeping or does it vary speeds on inclines, too?

If it is just creeping, then it's a matter of adjusting the hydro linkage.

If the speed varies, then the trunion assembly may be worn and the spring may be shot.

My hydro is speeding up/slowing down on its own. How do I fix it?

the cub cadet just keeps creeping. It doesn't change speeds. How do you adjust the linkage?
