Cub Cadet 7235 Help

I have a 1995 Cub 7235 with a Mitsubishi 3 cylinder diesel engine (K3G). One of the piston rods blew & went through the block.

Does anyone know where a person can buy either a used or rebuilt engine in Canada or the United States? I have tried different sources in Canada and had no success.

Also, I believe this engine is a 23 hp motor. Does anyone know if there is a larger hp engine which would be a direct replacement for the 23 hp??

Any help that can be offered would be greatly appreciated.

Have you determined if that engine was used in any of the grey market tractors imported from Japan?

Sad to say, that was not a popular machine, there are not that many around so you may be waiting for a while.
