Price Check cub cadet 2544 price increase

hello gentlemen

i noticed on cub's website that there has been a price increase! will dealers normally honor the prices on tractors they have in stock or do they jump them up when cub jumps their prices? i'm pretty disappointed because i would have bought one a month ago but i'm moving next week and didn't want to cart it around

About a month ago they increased prices on several models.

I don't know about the dealers. I recently bought a brushhog about $100 cheaper because the dealer I got it from had several in stock and they were still selling them according to the price they paid. In the mean time steel prices went through the roof! I guess the other dealers who wanted at least $100 more didn't have them in stock. So maybe you could find the same deal I did?

Bob, I read posts where buyers were still getting them for $2999 after the price increase. It probably depends on the dealer. It looks like they jumped the price up on just the quick moving units. Waiting until fall or early spring might get you a 'left-over' 2544 for $2800-2900 out the door/ tax included price if history repeats itself /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif.
