Price Check Cub Cadet 1863 Price????

Is $1295 a good price on a Cub Cadet 1863, 460 hours, 48" hydraulically lifted deck...needs 4 new tires.

Body panels are in good shape and seat is not torn. Starts up and runs well.

I was thinking about offering $1000...This tractor is a trade in at a local JD dealer.

That may not be a bad price,I gave 2K 2 years ago for a 1863 with 54" deck.&420 hrs. you can always offer the 1K.and see /forums/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

Honestly you can get a new 3100 cheap enough these days....I like the 1863-1864 models but it gets to that point when the price is that high and ask yourself why get used when new is the better setup? just my thoughts and opinion

Mine was around $5000 brand new in '96. So , I'd say it should be a bit cheaper. $1000 (if its in good shape) is proabably not too bad. good luck. It's been a great tractor. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif
