I have the opportunity to purchase a CC 1517 with 73 hours. It looks to be in very good shape and has been taken care of well. The price will be $800-900. Is that a good deal on a 2 or 3 year old CC that they don't make any more?

Thanks for any and all input.

Yes, it is a great deal.

I sold my 1515 last spring '04 for $1600. I paid $2100 plus added a rear bagger. $800-900 is a great price. Parts are plentiful and those models have a 7 piston hydro as opposed to the 5 piston they went to.

Its a nice machine that really cuts grass well. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
