Price Check Cub 7300 (?), is this a good price ?

Hi - I just looked at a 4 wheel drive 1996 Cub Cadet with a FEL and factory cab. It has 400 hours on it and is mint shape (always stored inside). I forgot the model number, but it's just like a new 7300 model (he said it is 30 hp diesel). It has 9 forward and 3 reverse speeds (manual tranny). Did they call this a 7300 in '96 ?

Anyway, he wants $8600 for it. Is this a fair price ?

Also, were these built by Mitsubishi ? I believe these to be fairly reliable machines, true ?

Any info you guys can share with me would be greatly appreciated.

With a cab and a loader that sounds pretty good. It is 100% Mitsubishi tractor, Woods loader and they have not changed much since 96 so if it is as nice as you say and suits your needs grab it!
