My 5252's mower deck just stopped in the middle of cutting. I checked the fuses and found the middle 3amp fuse blown. I replaced the fuse and started the tractor. The fuse blew within 10 seconds and I didn't even engage the blades. I could tell it blew because the dash diplay went blank. I disconnected the dash, restarted and it blew another fuse. I pulled the pto relay, restarted and it blew a fuse. I can't find any obvious shorts. I have eliminated the dash and the pto relay as the problem. Is there anything else that could cause the middle 3amp fuse to blow other than a short?

KEEP looking you have a wire that is bare and grounding out! check the spots where there might be a pinched wire from engine shroud! keep looking I know it's a pain ,but one of your wire's is touching the frame or somthing eles. I just got done doing this my-self on a 2185 >Mine was a safty switch chewed up by the streeing gear.
