Cub 27hp Kohler muffler help

I just bought a Cub GT1554 27HP Kohler Command,, the tractor is alot louder than I expected,,, I would like to modify the muffler maybe to accept one like is on the tank models,,, the old mower I have is a sears with a 20HP Kohler and it has a round tube on the right side of engine with the exhaust pipe exiting towards the right front tire and is a lot quieter 15yrs old than the new Cub is,,,,,,
Does anyone have any custom made tips or advice on quieting this thind down..

It would have to be all custom as that muffler is specific to that engine & chassis. Most of your noise is probably due to the new partially open hood design.
