Just got my new SST CT335.

Used it a couple of hours each day for the last few days. 11 hours total on machine.

MAN, this clutch takes a brute to push it!!!! Used a bunch of tractors in the past, but can NEVER remember a clutch being this stiff!!

Is this a common issue that I neen to just "man-up" about or could I possibly have an issue?

With clutch fully depressed, the forward/reverse lever can still be a little tough to land in the right spot, I am hoping that with time everything will "seat" in and changing directions will become a little eaiser.

Any thoughts?

Sounds to me that there is a problem - clutch shouldn't be that stiff.

unless your only 90lbs I'd say have it checked out. Maybe even have someone else drive it without mentioning it and see if they comment on it.

Try lubing up all the pivot points you can see. That does sound way to stiff. Some other levers/controls respond well to lube. Especially the ones that go through the tranny and rear housing. Surprised that the dealer didn't catch it.
