I recent purchased my CS 2510 (12.0 hrs) and while doing some light ground work with the box blade I noticed a large bolt on the ground. I immediately stopped and looked over the tractor and found that only two of the five bolts holding the left rear wheel were the only thing holding the rear wheel on and they were loose. Needless to say, after obtaining new bolts from the dealer, only one will actually thread in, three are damaged and one broken off. I have tried to find the tap size to clean up the threads but can't seem to find it anywhere. Even the dealer is having a difficult time coming up with it. Any one know what it is?

As soon as I posted I received an engineer drawing showing 1/2-20 UNF 2A as the size!

I have successfully retapped four of the five holes. The 5th one had a broken stud. I have drilled and tried to use an easy out. No joy. I have one drill size left then tap. Hopefully that will work. The only other issue I will have is four of the five wheel bolt holes are terribly elongated. Probably going to need a new wheel.

If the wheel is hub centered, I would think 2 opposing holes could be repaired and provide plenty of support. Some careful welding, fitting, and file work would do the trick.
