I found this guy down below our house. This area was once
part of an inland salt water sea and I find stuff like this a lot.
Anyone have any idea what it could be? I am guessing a
pre-historic shrimp...if you look close you can see it's eye.

Thats a nice ammonite! Their relations are still around today, google chambered nautilus.

Thanks "TFC". Looks like you nailed it. Mine is pretty worn compared to some others
I found on line but it's still a cool find. That's the second one I have found, the other
is on a rock too big to move.

Tig - It's about 4" in diameter.
