Cruise control

I tried the cruise control on my BX for the first time and was not impressed. I was driving on the road and thought I would give my foot a break. It worked ok but I could not get it to release without hitting the brake pedal or the direction pedal which would then slide the rear tires. I guess I was expecting a smooth release like a car would. Any thoughts what I might have done wrong. Thanks /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif

If the cruise is setup like a B series then yes it is a little abrupt, I would try using the hydro pedal to try to smooth it out.

I don't know if the BX is set up like the GrandLs but I really have bear down hard on the brake to get the cruise control lever to release....almost ran over a cow. /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif

It is definitely not like the tap on the brake of a car. I am getting use to just manually pulling the cruise up.

My GrandL L5030 works great. Just set it and go. Then to stop I push on the brake and the harder you push the more the lever returns to a stop position. You can also just slide the lever forward by hand if you don't need the brake.
