I have a 800' driveway and would like to be able to use my cruise control when in reverse while snowblowing.Has anyone figured out how to get this to work?Is this possible?

I don't believe it would be possible to do this unless you design something completely different. The cruise control works through a magnet on the forward HST pedal whose arm is adjacent to the magnet. The reverse pedal arm is too far away from the magnet to be controlled by it and when in reverse the forward pedal is not lined up with the magnet.

I suppose one possibility might be to weld a plate on the forward pedal that is over the magnet even when the reverse pedal is activated. I think you would also need to modify the control circuit that activates the magnet. Likely not worth the trouble.

To do this feat of engineering you must remove the engine and transmission and install them backwards to the usual way they face. You may want to put the seat on a total swivel too.:D:laughing:

Mike, when running my boxblade in reverse, it just seems hard to maintain the correct track going around curves. If your driveway is crooked or covered in snow, it seems likely you will find yourself going off the road a lot and having to stop and correct your direction and position. I don't know if you've tried driving the whole way in reverse or not, but I'd give it a try just to be sure the effort to convert your tractor is worth it.
