Cruise Control for BX\'s

Anyone know if there is some sort of cruise control for BX's? Looking for possibly "add on" devices or do we have to fabricate our own? Any ideas?

My dealer called last week just to see how I was getting along w/ my BX. I told him that the tractor is great but,

. needs a better seat
. on-board tool storage would be nice
. cruise control

He agreed and said that many others who bought the BX have voiced the same opinions.

Yup, that's one of the things I liked about the JD 455, 'cruise control'. I really miss on-board tools storage. I'd also like to see a tach and oil pressure guage... bigger cup holder too!'

Seat seems ok to me though

I had my dealer install a higher back seat on my BX2200. So far, its been great. It does raise you up a couple of inches which also gives you a tad more leg room(thankfully.) The replacement seat I have is from a B2410.

Hea Hogoy,

What did it cost to do that change on the seat and did you get any credit for the old seat from the BX2200. That sounds like a great idea.

good suggestion, but for me i'd also add individual rear brake pedals and a TACH, also the exhaust extension that is on the bx22, so the exhaust doesn't put soot on the loader arms.

Scott, the seat replacement was about $100.00. I didn't get credit for the other seat. I was just so thrilled to be able to get a higher backed seat I never gave it a 2nd thought.
