When I used to plant corn if my rows where crooked my dad would say it looks like that was planted by a drunken sailor. When he planted crooked rows he would say but I got more corn in them rows.

Well now that I'm older and wiser[well just older],I'm real preticular about my straight rows in my garden,but when growing up [and having to work in garden whether or not I wanted to],remember some pretty crooked rows.

The rows my wife makes are not crooked[cause we use a string],she'll get the spacing all outa kelter.

Might be any wheres from 2-4 tiller widths,and one end of row might be 1 tiller width and other end 3[good help is hard to find].
