Does anybody that has the creeper gear use it? If you do what for? Is there anybody that doesn't have the creeper but wishes they had it? Why?

Finally got to drool over some real live tractors the other night. I had to drive 130 miles to get to them. Nice. Of course I liked the DK35. But they had a 1914 with a KB 1440 that looked interesting too. I think the 1914 is a little small for the backhoe work I need to do but it looked good.

Brad,
I have a DK 35 with no creeper gear.
I do wish I would have gotten creeper for rototilling.
I can till OK without creeper but a lower gear or 2 would help!!

If you are gonna consider a trencher attachement on the 3 point it would be a necessity.

are the slow gears now an option on the kioti ?? my 3054 it plenty slow in low 1 great info...i want a 50C so bad I cant stand it !!

LT,
The low range like on your 3054 is standard.
Creeper gear is extra lower gearing.

I don't know if it is "classified" as creeper gear, but first gear in my DK65 is very very slow. I can crawl faster than it!!!

Hi RedDog,
I have read some of your posts on the other tractor site.
Just curious if you solved your problem with the quick attach for your bucket so it can't come off ?
Welcome to TBN.

Wolbert,

Not yet. It is always the left side that falls off. I'm still waiting on the new pins and springs for it.

I told my dealer about a week ago that I need filters for the oil and tranny also, but do not have them yet.

It did make me mad this past weekend when I dented the bucket in the middle shoving a tree over. I've knocked over about 10 trees with no problem what so ever, but this one was!

The tractor has plenty of power!!

My dealer called me today, (he read my post) and has my parts, except a Catagory 2 ball that I lost. After rereading my post, I was wrong to say that about him, because I told him to wait for everything then I would pick it up.

I do think it is nice that "they" do read the tractor sites!!!!

MisterKioti,
Can creeper gear be added to my DK 35 or are the trannsmission cases differant ?
This is an option I did not order and I wish I had.

Yes, It is available. It's not all that expensive to buy. BUT.....installation will cost you alot more than parts. It is VERY involved.

I was looking at a new DK35, but really wanted the creeper gear (you know, if your going to spend this kind of money, get what you want :) ).

Anyway, the dealer found out that 17 hours is required to install the kit. Ouch!

Yep it's a little on the steep side for installation. That 17hrs was probably "the book" and if you've never done one before the "book" time is a little on the low side.
