Credit card type lock for clubhouse bathooms

I need a couple of magnetic strip type locks for our clubhouse bathrooms. Any ideas on manufactuers? I tried a search but nothing was really right. Also, how are the cards programmed? I would really like a system that you can do from a home computer and card writer if such a thing exisits. Thanks in advance.

Why not something with a simple simplex style lock? That way you don't have to worry about coding cards. Just change the combination periodically and notify the members with a mailing.

Its a thought, but like keys, members can give out the combo to friends who give it to friends etc. One card, thats it. Loose the card and either live with it or buy all new cards for everyone. Still putting it all together.

Ouuu RaT, forcing a member to buy all new cards? that sems severe. You are a tought guy. I woud think you would get a lock that could provide different access codes for each card and if one gets lost you just disable that card it and issue the member a new card. When I worked for GE Honeywell provided our dore card security system.

I reviewed the Stanley lock and it looks like it will do just that. Very cool.

The ID chips that you can attach to your keychain also work well.. IE.. 1- per person.. and no code to give out.. etc. Sme Clearchannel radio stations work that way.. No ID chip.. No access to building..
