I was wondering....because I saw a hand crank on a JD 950 tractor I sold (flipped) that would really be a nice replacement to the screw type we have on the YM's. Unfortunately, the one on the 950 was too big for me to swap it out. Anyone know of one that will work? My screw type is a challenge to adjust when its really cold out (cold hands and gloves on) and with an attachment hanging off the three point

My crank adjustable link is 20" center to center of the pins when level, probably has a couple inches either way to go fwtw.

The left fixed down-link on my CT120 looks to be 16.5 inches long. I would love to have a crank down-link on the right side if one were available.

I looked up the one for the 950 and WOW...they are expensive. Hoye tells me they do not have a source for these but I am guessing that somewhere some place there is a version out there that will fit our Yanmars!

To bad the 950 is to long. I'm putting a top and tilt on my 950 before the sale and will have one to get rid of at a great price.

Chris - maybe one of the larger Yanmars could make this work. I can't remember but when I had the 950 it didn't look like it was possible to cut it down some. Can you confirm?

Looks like my 950 is about 19" pin to pin. ( 3/4"pin top, 5/8 pin bottom ) and it has about 2" to move up and down from there. Sure, you could cut it down, but you would loose the adjustment range in the process cutting the screw and outside cover, would have to re-weld the nut tube after cutting down. For all the time you'd have into the change, and the limited travel after the change, might be better off just getting the right link to start with. That one on ebay is going for half of what I'm going to try to sell this one for. You know what JD wants for a new one, mine will be less than half that. My Yanmar 3000 is sold and gone, otherwise I'd look at that one and see if there is a difference.

If you search "leveling box" on Ebay (Industrial) -(ag and forestry) there are a ton of units, some priced pretty reasonably ( well under $100 incl SH). Cheapest one I saw was still early in the auction but had no bids and was $9. Some of those look like they could be modified/shortened fairly easily.(?)

28 deg. in Ga. this Morning. Mine moves easily as you can see the lock is loose and the Threads are Painted. This is on a YM2000 is theYM2020 not the same? When I bought it was tight but with a closed end Wrench it and a little WD40 it Loosened right up.
