Craftsman GT5000 problems

I have a craftsman gt5000 and it seems like when i cut grass there are times when i just lose power or where i just dont have power and its not because of grass thickness or height it just loses power. Any thought would be awesome. I also have another troublshooting problem it seems like some times when i start up the GT5000 and then turn on the blades it just chokes and dies so thanks again guys

Is it possible that there is a belt binding up or could you have a Blade Spindle starting to Seize up ?
