In 2005 I bought a New Holland TS100A with a front loader on it. I have cracked 3 right front hubs on it, everytime I use it to lift anything heavy this happens. New Holland told me that I was loading the frontloader and then driving too fast with the tractor causing the front end to start bouncing causing the hub to break, this is not the case. The last time I replaced the hub it cracked within a half hour. I was moving some dirt from one location to another, maybe 75 yards distance, when I had the loader full I was only going 3 mph and it still cracked. I had to sell the tractor because it was a piece of crap.

Anyone else had problems with the front hubs cracking? The first time the hub cracked NH replaced it with a different type but it still cracked.

Sounds like a quality control issue where this is cast. What did the metal look like ? I'm sure the engineer calculated the weight and side motions that exceeds the loaders specs. I see you did fine the solution though..........

Bad design,or bad metal. Steel shouldn't crack real easy,it should bend. Now,cast iron cracks pretty easy, cheap cast iron which is badly designed cracks real easy. Than you got cast steel, which should be about as good as steel but.If new holland says the reason is you have to much in bucket, than their bucket is to big, either way its their fault. Don't look good for new holland does it.
