Cowboy bumper/ grill guard

I'm thinking of putting an aftermarket bumper/grill guard on my 2016 3500. Anyone have any experience or recommendations? I was looking at a Ranch Hand Legend, but wonder if it might be too heavy. Anyone have any experience with some others?

I have ran ranch hands on all my trucks since 2006. Never had any issues with the front end or issues period. Really provide a bunch of protection that the factory bumper can't

I have a 99 F250SD with a Ranch hand with a receiver hitch on front. Us it to mount a winch. Bumper is heavy, and the winch add another 100 lbs, but I really have not noticed a problem. I really like the protection, has already saved the front end a couple of times.

In some places you'll see a lot of grill guards welded up from schedule 40 pipe and weldelets. They are usually quite sturdy.

I just installed a Frontier Xtreme front bumper on my F250 to replace the rusting original bumper. Of all the replacements I looked at, I liked the appearance of it the best. It also turned out to be about the lowest price of most- bought mine from the Bumper Superstore, shipping was "free" and delivery was prompt and professional. It weighs a bunch more than the original, but the truck doesn't care.

I ran a TrailReady for years on a Grand Cherokee. Rolled the Jeep over on the freeway and it did not bend only scratched the powder-coating off and some deep gouges. It protected the hood and radiator good enough in the roll over and I used it even to push a few rotten trees over.
