COVID19 Changing The Used Tractor Market?

For the last few months I have been watching our local Craigslist postings and am seeing a huge influx in equipment up for sale! It is sad to see as I know these people are trying to survive in these unprecedented times!

Some really nice equipment starting to hit the market here. If you are looking for a tractor, might look at used as I am certain a lot of these folks could really use the help!

I often watch online auctions just for fun to see what items are going for and I've noticed it too. Prices on auctioned equipment are way down compared to what they were going for last year.

Very unfortunate but true! However, what I am seeing is still decent pricing and newer equipment. I am having to make the tough decision at my company to protect as many as I can. No doubt it is having a negative impact on all our finances! Making some of the calls I have been forced to make are by far the worst days of my life! Sad!

Maybe I wasn't clear in my statement, I have been watching for the last few months looking for a 6' shredder in good shape. During that time, I have seen very few tractors listed and over this week the number of equipment listings have increased drastically. This morning is when it hit me that this is most likely due to people loosing their income. Sorry for any confusion.

Not yet in NE Mississippi. Prices have not dropped. But then Mississippi just started testing and Gov. TateR has deemed almost all businesses essential to keep people moving about and buying stuff. Circulate and spend.

With the "HIT" my 401k took, I am not willing to pull money to buy any big ticket items. I stopped looking at CL about 3 - 4 weeks ago.
