An interesting study for sure. "Instead of thinking about the cold and flu season, think about the Vitamin D deficiency season"

And it takes awhile to build the levels back up, so maybe something we could do all year. I read a study earlier this year about vit D deficiency and started a D3 supplement. In general i think all the vit and supplements are just being sold to make money off of people, but here i am. :confused3:

I figure our time will come. 10k people in the county and no deaths yet. Last time I checked, 13 cases for the year. We have a lot of poor and elderly here so I would have thought we would see more cases and a few deaths....maybe lucky??

Must help not having any looting, rioting or large gatherings to spread the bug. Biggest event I have attended this year is the Bear Camp dinner on Sunday. It was outside and maybe 60 people. No one wearing masks. People sharing bottles of liquor...none too smart on the sharing bottle stuff...we did not participate.

Hope you and your families make it through this. My fiancé just started Chemo, so we will be more cautious as her immunity will be compromised.

Be very careful with her as her immune system will be compromised and be patient with her too. Went through that 2 years ago. Not a fun trip but the alternative was not being here. I still have people I want to pizz off so being here is still important. She will have her good days and her not so good days.

I not so fondly remember getting the rat poison and going home and sleeping for 3 days, having no appetite and everything tasting metallic.

She is ported. We are looking at 5 months of chemo...then radiation. Her 5 year survival rate is 43%. Stage 3. We pray a lot and are blessed with good friends.

God’s will will be done, but we will put up a **** of a fight.

Just watched a Chinese doctor/virologist on Tucker Carlson. She says the corona virus was manufactured in a Chinese communist lab and intentionally spread. I actually thought that might be the case months ago.

I think she did make it into the USA from Hong Kong but expect she still may be in harms way. We may never know for sure but Covid-19 seems to be caused by a corona virus on steroids to say the least.

My wife went through stage 3 breast cancer 10 years ago and the chemo was a little tough but they have improved a lot from what it used to be. One of the older nurses that took care of the wife told us that in the early days the patients would be put in "puke rooms" after the treatment. The new anti nausea drugs help a lot as do the ports. The first thing the oncologist told my wife was that when she got home from that appointment she needed to start a vigorous exercise routine and do it twice a day for the rest of her life. She listened to him and still does her walks even though she has been cancer free for 5 years, she is in better shape now than at any time in her life. Her only lasting side effect is lymphedema caused by the radiation treatments but she handles it well.
Best wishes for your lady, it will be tough but she can beat it.

I have always believed China manufaciand released this. I think they did it as their only hope of removing Trump from office by tanking the economy. Historically China has no regard for human life, 2M dead is just collateral damage to try and become the worlds number 1 super power.

I said the same when this first appeared. It does not make sense that this was a "natural" virus. Also, look at the way China and the WHO allowed it to migrate to other countries, while locking down Wuhan. Funny isn't it?

We may never know the truth...it will get buried. If it was released and spread on purpose, it is an act of war. And then what? A war with China would get very ugly with 10's of millions of dead. Far better to choke them off economically, but there are too many business interests (NBA, Walmart, etc etc) that do not want that to happen.

The Chinese have been brilliant...even if they are evil.

It seems unlikely they would have released the virus prior to having any sort of antidote or vaccine. Even now, they are no further ahead of the rest of the world in their development of a vaccine. I would have expected at least a good head start to a vaccine from a country developing a virus. Thinking along those lines, I find it hard to believe most of these 'stories' until there is actual proof one way or the other.
I suppose they could have bought the virus from Harbor Freight and didn't get the extended warranty to insure containment, so once it escaped they were SOL.

Who is to say the Chinese have not developed a vaccine/ treatment or the like, that has been taken by the people in power positions in that country.. then the general population is simply on their own. It’s not far fetched, if they did create it, it would be logical that they have the ability to uncreate it or at least know the weak spot to disable its genome.
