Counterweight on a jcb

Does anyone know how to remove a counterweight from a JS200 and is it safe to drive the excavator without the counterweight?

Not sure how to remove it. Probably safe to drive on flat surface without carrying anything.

If you have to ask calling a heavy equipment mechanic is probably the best plan. It’s a pretty straightforward job but that’s not a light counterweight. Usually the counter weight sits in a track with a couple of large bolts in the bottom. You have to remove the bolts and lift it off the track.
