Counsel or Help with Diesel & Kerosene

Hi guys - I searched Google and you guys seem to be the only ones with knowledge that may be of assistance to my client - He inherited an old Farm Homestead in Texas and with that several 55 gallon drums of Diesel Fuel and/or Kerosene Fuel used on this "once working farm" however its no longer wanted or needed. He would like to give it away but has no idea Whom to contact to arrange the logistics of picking it up etc. EPA & Safety Issues are a huge concern. He has called every entity he could think of to no avail. Any ideas for a solution would be a great blessing. Appreciate the help.

Welcome ,,, I would suggest you change the title to your post to " Free Diesel Fuel in Texas - Just haul away " There are a lot of Texas members of TBN that I would believe would be interested and probably close by.

I agree- If I see free diesel/kerosene, I'd be over in a hurry!!!

Might also check with local bulk fuel suppliers in the area. They might be willing to take it or have advice for disposal.

Just so you know. Diesel does not always have an infinite shelf life so there could be some question of if it is still good.

What part of Texas are you in? There are plenty of Texas members on here who would love to help you out with all that unwanted fuel. Me included!!! LOL

Stick an add on craigslist...it will be gone in a heartbeat.

I had 3 people call me wanting 20 gal of used hyd oil from my craigslist ad. dumped it in a day. They will use that fuel and make biodiesel out of it.
