Comparison Cost benefit of 3pth adapter for PT's

I am concluding that the best compromise would be to buy a fixed 3pth adapter. If I then run into an inexpensive used snowblower, I could go buy the appropriate hydraulic motor and fabricate an appropriate mount.

The fixed 3pth also keeps the implement closer to the tractor than the motorized ones.
