Correction to financing statements

Upon checking further with my dealer, it turns out the 0% for 60 months I was commenting about in several posts or threads here applies only to older 29/33 models. Apparently there are a couple of 02 or 03 production units on lots in 2 or 3 states which they want to move out. A new model 29 or 33 is not eligible.

I'm sorry for the mistatement, as is the dealer, I'm sure.

I'm ignorant about the exact differences between the earlier and current 29/33 series, but I suspect it may be just the body panels. If anyone can enlighten me, I'd appreciate it since I could still be interested in one of them if the bottom line is attractive enough.

you would have a heck of a time finding the old style tractor. They are the same as the new ones, less the body work and the new style loaders. There is 0/60 on all TC21/TC24 and the 2WD TC utlities.

Apparently there is one in Indiana, one in Arizona and one more somewhere else. Do you know if the seat, link ends, leveler by crank, and ROPS design are the same? If I knew I could drive under my garage door with the ROPS down and not hit my head, I'd be interested in one. I was planning to go over to the dealer, fold the ROPS, hang a bar off one of his OH doors at the 81" height limit I have, and then try to drive under it. If I cleared it, I'd probably buy the tractor. If not, I'll be back to weighing the DX vs. Mahindra vs. 7610.

The dealer seemed to think the transportation costs wouldn't be a major factor. I don't know if the old style price is lower, but I suspect it is, which would offset the cost of hauling the thing cross country.
